If the person looking at these pictures only feels compassion, I will believe that I have failed completely. I want people to understand that we can have a solution.

Very few of the persons photographed are responsible for the situation that they are now in. Most of them don’t understand why they are on the road with thousands of others. They lost their houses at the end of the last brick, because they were bombed, fired, destroyed, and they are in the road and they don’t understand why.

They are not the reason for their being there; it is other things. And about these other things we have to choose.
